Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, I stayed there alone and they took me in and treated me as if I was their own blood. Jacinto even gave me a hot water bottle for my bed, I almost feel bad not paying them more than what they asked of me, they truly deserve it. Price data on this app is old.

The best albergue so far since lisbon! Warm welcome and such a delightful atmosphere. Be prepared for music and fun!

We tried to book casa fernanda but we’re unable to get hold of her.. and hence was fully booked when we arrived.. next option at valinhas was shut up with no signs of life and casa sagre was also unavailable.. next option is another 7kms away.. we opted to taxi to Ponte Lima as was pouring down .. I suppose moral is Nik and don’t leave to chance!

Another shout-out for Valinhas, less than 1 km past Fernanda. Multi-bed room plus single rooms with amazing shower; communal dinner with fireplace in corner, vegetarian
option and own wines & olive oil. (Fernanda isn’t only option.)

We stayed here on 30 December 2022 and Fernarda opened her home when she technically wasn't open. Inviting us to be with her family too.

This is an albergue that should be the standard for others to follow.
The warm welcome is genuine and needs to be experienced.
The husband and wife double act provide you with everything you could possibly need.
The communal evening meal is worth the stay itself.
I cannot speak highly enough of this place.

Truly an amazing and warm stay. True Camino spirit and community. I can’t say enough about Fernada. This couple give from there hearts.
