Host was really kind and was very accommodating after a rainy walk that day. Hair dryer, paper for shoes. €5 for washing machine AND dry. The heating was on, which is a rarity I find in many albergues; plus tons of blankets. It’s a pretty basic place sleeping wise but honestly being able to get warm and play some guitar was perfect!

I arrived here after a blistering rainstorm and 60kmh winds and they were so kind and helpful making sure I — and all the other drowned rats — could dry off and get warm. It isn’t fancy, but they are kind. And that matters.

Nathaniel has made a wonderful effort to provide all the extras that make a pilgrims stay comfortable. Little, simple things that many albergues don't offer - soap at the handbasin & laundry, lots of clothesline & pegs, games in the common room, a guitar, pool is very cool & more. Great Albergue

Nathaniel was very welcoming. Note it’s not the green door entrance of the Albergue next door. There were powerboats in the wall that allowed for easy access to charge devices. The pub around the corner had good meals. The showers and toilets were a bit small and cramped. The albergue was clean and felt comfortable.

In my opinion overrated albergue. Yes, it has pool which is nice. There are only few toilets and showers and bunks are cramped in one big room. The host is a little bit pushy. He all the time insisted that we have to visit the pool and “have fun” altough we just wanted to rest and sleep. He did this more than once and we felt disrespected.

We slept at Albergue Camino Real last night and one pilgrim has been bitten by bedbugs. Don't use the blankets on the beds is our advice.

What a surprise to stay here. Maybe it is not the “fanciest” alburgue but the host, Nathaniel did so much extra to help!
Real Camino spirit at this Alburgue.
Do support them!

The hospitalero was nice and helpful, and wanted to make sure everybody is having a nice experience. You can use a kettle, microwave and plates/cutlery even if the place doesn’t have a proper kitchen. There’s a nice backyard with a pool. Good value!

We had a great time. The host made us feel at home right from the beginning. He was very helpful and offerd help where he could. Nice common room. Big dorm though, three showers, but overall no problem. I would recommend this place without hesitation. If you like french fries buy potatoes beforehand, there are two airfriers in the kitchen.
