The hotel is nice enough and clean. The room had a small desk and easily accessible outlets so I could do work (unfortunately some of us have to do that in order to be able to walk the full way at once - not optimal, I know).

Where we were really disappointed was the lack of laundry facilities. We stayed in Berducedo the night before and did not do any laundry because the web site for this hotel says that it has coin operated laundry facilities. It turned out that it didn’t and the lady at the bar down the street (where we had to go to be let into the hotel) said that there was neither coin laundry there nor was there a lavandaria in town and that we would have to wait until we got to A Fonsegrada the next day.

So if you are planning to do laundry and stay at this hotel, don’t believe the website as it clearly hasn’t been updated for this aspect of your stay.

A nice respite after a week of albergue’s, very nice and clean, modern. Hot showers and a small balcony to dry my clothes. Natalia and the rest of the staff were super hosts and very accommodating, the hospitality was incredible!

Stayed at la Barra Hotel for a good rest after a week on the Camino.. Arrived on a Sunday at 1.30pm, there was nothing to do, missed the pilgrims mass at 12.30pm (Sunday) .. no shops were opened. So it was good to just spend the day in the room. Room is very clean, big and spacious. Owners were friendly and did their best to understand and attend to my needs.
