Diego and his family were kind and welcoming. The outside lounge area was well shaded and comfy. I reserved a single room with a double bed. It was comfortable and the room was extremely clean. They had laundry service 6€ for washing and drying.

Dinner was delicious. A gourd soup, followed by chicken, and for dessert, a slice of ice cream cake.

I highly recommend staying here.

Tonight I had the best vegetarian food I’ve had all Camino so far. It began with a squash soup, which was pretty standard, but still delicious. The next course was an individual veggie lasagna with artichoke hearts and a crispy top that was completely amazing. Dessert was a chocolate lava cake made artfully with raspberry swirl around the plate. It was a dream dinner for me. I feel like I needed to write this just to remind myself that it actually happened. I’ll be thinking of it the next time someone feeds me canned asparagus on toast.

Excellent albergue all around, especially if you have a small group of friends with whom to share bunks, and like the quiet outdoor life versus the city albergues.

Clean private room with double bed/ bath another room with twin beds and bath and a third with 2 sets of bunks and bath. That’s it. We bought the place out with these 3 rooms. No food available today here but found lovely bar close that served all day. Municipal is right next door and has 35 beds and is very nice.

Stayed mid Sept. the young gals run both the pension and the Albergue. Their bar/café open to all. Also vending machines on-site. Definitely worth the stop!!
