This was definitely the best albergue we have visited. The signing was the icing on the cake

Very friendly staff. Lovely communal meal included in price, served a curry which was a change from usual pilgrim meals. Breakfast served from early. Perfect spot to catch the sunrise.

I am in town right now, and was looking forward to staying at Monte Irago. However, there is a sign on their door that says closed until 24.08, if I am reading the Spanish correctly.

I missed out on a bed here but came for the shared dinner. This was a welcome change in menu from the usual pilgrim fare. Really friendly place, and an opportunity for a multi-lingual singalong.

A glorious refuge just when you need it. Roaring fire, stein sized beer, lovely dinner with full sing along with generous wine. Boot room, back garden and outdoor seating for fine weather - warm, jovial inside with baked treats for the snow. Recommend!

This place is the jam. Comfy couch outside, great cold beers, and an amazing dinner. The hostess did a great job of creating a fun atmosphere, and Joanna was super kind and gave us extra wine at dinner. Would stay again. And again. And again.

Albergue Monte Irago is the first albergue on the left in Foncebadón. Warm welcome by Lena and depending on your nationality in English, Spanish, German or even a few words in Dutch, Korean,…!
Terraces behind and in front of the albergue with nice view on the mountains.
But very special is the musical performance by Lena during the communal dinner! Really worthwhile booking this albergue!

This was a nice alburgue. We slept in the attic so plenty of room. Dinner was ok. Tiny portions.

Sadly no music but we had a lovely communal dinner.
Lena was just so helpful.
The cafe attached to this albergue is amazing.
Absolutely fantastic food.
Breakfast starts from 6:30am and is such a change from the usual cheap toast

One of our favorite places on Camino. Special place as encourages pilgrims to interact. Pilgrim meal/evening was a treat after long day.
