People need to remember that bed bugs have been brought in by walkers.
When you lay your backpack down to take a break you may pick up a passenger.

We thought that the infection september (9/11/24) was over… But we found 2.

The albergue is kind of nice. The room we slept in only had 4 beds, so it was cozy and quiet, however there was no ventilation except for the window to the street which if left open anyone could climb into.

The kitchen/living area is nice, lots of equipment.

But the bathroom situations is also another negative thing. There are only two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs. And there is also a shower in both of them, resulting in that they are always occupied…

Woke up this morning with bites on my feet and hands. Found a bedbug as I was removing the bedsheets this morning.

This is very annoying as this is a lovely albergue. I do agree with comment below about the bathroom/shower situation : 2 bathrooms for 30 people is complicated at rush hour..

There are only two toilets/showers in the whole place. Other than that it’s lovely! The beds are very comfortable and the whole albergue is super clean.

I have stayed in some nice Albergues on my Camino. But this Albergue is the most modern and nicely kept. Christina, the owner, speaks great English and is very friendly and conscientious about cleanliness. The kitchen layout, and sleeping rooms are well appointed and organized with room to stretch out. They also have a nice private back yard to enjoy quiet rest. And a Laundry room with W/D if needed. Ken DK.

This albergue is highly recommended as it is clean and cozy. The garden and kitchen are beautifully coordinated as well. The owner is approachable and kind.

I can't say much about what's offered earlier in the day because I got their so late from Madrid. But the bed was comfortable. Room with 6 people. Showers where clean and the staff was nice.

The owner is a wonderful, warm lady. The place itself is comfortable with good, solid basic facilities but nothing fancy. Bathroom is bit less capacity but overall, this is a nice, comfortable place which I recommend. Oasis is an oasis in sarria which I found a bit depressing as a city after the charming Spanish towns just before.
