Casa Fernanda sure deserves its glowing reputation. The hosts are warm and helpful. Single beds, no bunks. Beautiful gardens. Excellent communal dinner (vegetarian options available) with wonderful joyful singing after. I regret leaving before breakfast because I heard it was great too. Go out of your way to stay here.

Fernanda and her husband are the most amazing hosts. The albergue is so well set up, the beds are spaced and very comfortable. Fernanda cooked the most delicious meal, made from the heart and really brought everyone there together. If you get the chance you must stay here. Evelyn Australia.

What a wonderful, welcoming home. Arriving earlier than scheduled, due to injury, I was made comfortable and welcome. Fernanda ensured that the seven pilgrims spending the night were well fed and wine was shared. It was here that our Camino Family bonds were formed and we enjoyed this special closeness all the way to SdeC.
This stay was a highlight of my Camino.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The hospitality is amazing as are the Padron peppers, fish cakes and wine just for starters. Then there is the delicious dinner and breakfast in the morning. You are really made to feel welcome and at home. Incredible value too

Incredibly friendly hostess, spread feels like a Carolina camp, all single beds, plenty of wine and tapas, and a really fun group of perigrinos. my second Camino and my second favorite spot of the night, first being the sisters of the Sacred Heart in Zabaldinka on Camino Frances

What a wonderful home in which to spend time with genuinely kind and friendly people. I was welcomed much earlier than scheduled and made to feel at home. The feeling of community was encouraged by delicious mid afternoon snacks and wine. Dinner was our best meal of the last 3 weeks and we were treated to flavoursome, hearty Portuguese cooking and delicious wine. Thank you for an unforgettable Camino experience!

This has been the best stay on our Camino and we started in Lisbon. Fernanda and her husband are wonderful hosts. The dinner was a beautiful assortment of Portuguese cuisine and fresh vegetables and salad. Not to be missed. Evelyn and Jo Australia

Fernanda is a great , caring host, cooking from the heart. I am vegan and she prepared several dishes especially for me. In the morning I and the other pilgrim who stayed that day chatted for 2 hours with Fernanda at breakfast. :)

The best albergue we've been to. Pleasant owners, wonderful homely atmosphere, amazing food... I recommend it 100% to all pilgrims.

This is a most excellent place to stay. Dorm beds are not bunk beds. No true town close to buy food. But not to worry. Went we arrived hostess Fernanda make appetizers including Perdón peppers. Then served red and white wine. At 1900 was a great dinner at one big dinner. And then breakfast the next morning. Nice garden area to gather, do laundry, and hang things out to dry. Worth considering this off stage location. May need to reserve a few days in advance.
