This is a strikingly well renovated and decorated hotel. It is beautiful. The best was comfortable. Lovely fireplace greeted people at check in. Angela and Diego have done a fabulous job. I would stay here again.

We booked a room at this fancy and expensive hotel. We were very excited when we arrived. When my daughter was getting ready to go to bed, she found 6 bedbugs on the sheets and three on the floor. We let the owner know and she said that it was impossible, that our room had been empty for two days and that it must had been us who brought them in. Then she told us she would fumigate the room with this promising chemical. We did end up spending the night there. Did not find bedbugs after the fumigation.

We had no bedbugs prior to checking in and after we left. This goes to show you that even expensive places can have bedbugs.

The room was very clean, our private bathroom was fine, unfortunately there was no air circulation so pretty steamy after a shower.
Also, with the festival, the people partied until 230am which was nobody’s fault, glad they had fun and our next destination is very close.

First, it should be noted that it was in the high 90 degrees when we were in O Cebreiro. So, it was virtually impossible to sleep. However, Casa Anton was a pleasant space with very friendly staff. The restaurant downstairs doesn't have a pilgrim menu, but they do have large plates which you cam share, so as long as you're eating with 1 or 2 other people it's a pretty good deal.
