We always have reservations about big hostels, but this place was great. We arrived around 3pm and we where number 65 to check in. We ended up on the 3rd floor in a 2 bunk room. Bunks are solid and facilities are great. Toilets and showers on each floor. Recommend!

TBH I had alot of reservations based on previous comments. But after staying there, I was greeted by super friendly host who even gave a detailed guide on things to do in the city. The bathrooms and toilets are super clean and one of the nicest I’ve experience I’m surprised it’s still 7 euros. There’s only 4 people per room. I love it and I’m so happy I stumbled upon this gem in astorga!

Although this is a large Albergue, it is compartmentalized. We ended up with a private room. The Albergue closes at 10pm and do not be late. Every floor gets locked. Would recommend.

Lots of space outside and inside to eat and relax

Albergue is nice and clean. Was given small room with only 4 beds which is great. Back garden is lovely and great area in the sun.

Hospitalerio however threw all my stuff on the floor. Very rude and unnecessary.

Checked in yesterday afternoon to nice people at the front desk. Our room had three bunks, it was bright, window
opened, not enough outlets for everybody but we worked it out. Kitchen is a great kitchen. we were able to make a pilgrims meal for 12 of us, lots of seating for other people to have their meals also. Lots of room to dry clothes. its a great place and a good deal

We were told we had till 8am to leave yet were pestered from before 7. We were given blanket begrudgingly- even though it was minus 1 at 7am. Also were berated for asking for blankets and told if we asked for blankets in Galicia we would be denied. Not a nice experience. Don’t say 8 and then Chase people out at 7.

Arrived 24th November. Facilities ok (ish) at 7 euros.
The staff were rude, continuously shouting at all pilgrims to "put bed sheets on now! as its very important!"
Considering the fact that everyone had walked through the day with continuous rainfall and were soaked they were not even giving you time to get coats off etc.
