That's what it really is. No mosquito net on the windows + U have the bonus of super loud sound of the car passing by fast.

Enjoy

Stayed here on May 18, 2024 for 10€. It was a very busy day with a school group staying there, and unfortunately they were not considerate in terms of noise or space ( they are kids and still learning :)
The kitchen had no dishes, pots, cutlery as mentioned by another pilgrim - it had a microwave, sink (with soap and sponge), and seating area.
Has a washer and dryer, outdoor sink to wash clothes and several clothes lines (no clothes pins).
The albergue had large dorm rooms with many beds - my (assigned) top bunk faced the door so I was awoken with the automatic light every time there was motion in the hallway. Brimg an eye mask if you're sensitive to light at night.

As usual there are zero utensils (except for one cup) and cookware in a perfect kitchen in this Galician Xunta Albergue , so me and the jovial lady staff had a good laugh about it. Otherwise this is a neat little place to hide from the heat, clean up and rest for the night. Food-wise one has to do some research or prep If you want to stay here. I had some edible food in my backpack, so that’s sorted.

The albergue was pretty much empty for us. Clean simple well maintained and you can’t beat the price. There is a nice bar up the path with good food for lunch and the lady greeting us at the albergue showed us a pizza place menu which we ordered for delivery for dinner. All in all a great stay. The private albergue was closed, but we really liked the municipal albergue. Highly recommend!
