Alert! When you write to reserve a bed, do so in Portuguese or else you’ll risk not get a bed.
Imagine walking for 24 km just to arrive and have her say ”only one private room available, cost 60€”. So you better have it in cash or off you go to next place which by this hour are usually all booked.

We did reserve two beds in the bunk beds.
But she only replied with:
Hello. Yes. Name?
And after giving name. She never confirmed. We wrote again. Nothing. At this point you just hope that she wouldn’t be so sinister and reject you once you arrive. She almost did.

Otherwise, good place.

Delicious dinner. Wonderful views. Cecilia (host) was friendly. Breakfast was do-it-yourself basic, but the previous night's dinner more than made up for it. Recommended!

My friend and I booked the private room with bathroom. Spacious, comfy and clean. We loved the dinner Cecilia prepared - a delicious one-dish meal of rice, chicken and veggies, plus wine and dessert - for an extra 10 Euro. Recommended.

I decided to stay here before the long uphill climb to Rubiaes. I am glad I stayed. Nothing was open on a Sunday. The owner provided an excellent communal dinner (10 Euro extra, worth it). The owner arrives at 16:00 to check in guest. You can arrive earlier and choose a bed, take a shower and do laundry. Self service. Breakfast is also self service from a room inside not outside. I was happy with my stay.

Skip this Albergue, if it's possible. The Pilgrim Diner was dry Omelett (!) Ketchup and French Fries. Unfriendly Host without any English Skills.

We did have a nice stay but it’s very basic. Very unfriendly host. Breakfast is very basic too, just coffee and toast. We were lucky and had a pheasant time interacting with other pilgrims there, but I’ll definitely skip this place next time.

As mentioned it was basic, clean and small. 3 room with 2 bunk beds and one private. All rooms have there own washroom. Dinner was pasta, tuna and eggs, with small appetizers. Had friends stay at the other 2 albergues and reported a better experience.

We had a wonderful stay! The beds were comfortable and the food was excellent! No complaints at all!!
