Came here looking for a bed but the receptionist mentioned they only had room at this property. At that point, I figured that it might be a treat to myself to have some space with just 10k left of walking. She mentioned it was empty and I was wondering oh the second person to walk by that day. Looked to be the only one staying there. So the pricing went up to $45. I didn’t challenge it. Was tired. Then she added some type of tax for it. Again, I’m all about the experience and an extra few euros to give back into businesses staying open, I’m up for it. The room wasn’t the best. Window had a lot of moisture so there was black mold building around it and the stucco. Shower head was rough, but again, it’s still a bargain to have a bathroom all to myself. Just noting for future pilgrims. Went downstairs to have their dinner at the restaurant. It was okay. The server was definitely great. Super friendly. They have it posted that they have breakfast. So when I asked, he asked the manager and they said they wouldn’t open up. I don’t disagree if I was the only person staying there. Oh well. Now here is where things get dicey. They charged me ala carte for everything. Including 1 euro for a couple pieces of bread. 1 for water. 18 euro dinner.

Served great. Food was okay. Pricey for what you get.

The food was excellent - the grilled octopus was cooked perfectly - but that's about it. The room smelled like a dead animal so we left the windows open even though it was freezing. The heat never came on, the beds were uncomfortable, and there was a pack of dogs barking outside for hours. Not a great night

The selection of items in the menu is good with English notes. Fish and fruitcake are good. Coffee doesn’t cost extra . Room with toiletries.

Camino de Sant…

There has to be better places to eat. And it is hard to find a bad wine in Spain as they have all been good however this one is bad. And don’t order squid and rice. Nicely cooked rice, tasteless but nicely cooked. However the squid would have a second purpose as shoe leather. Beware. Rooms are nice
