If you are unsure of when the open (because we read different information on different websites) they do open for check in at 13! Price is 14€ or bed.Super nice place, would recommend :)

After reading the previous reviews, I initially decided to skip this albergue and walked to the next one just around the corner. Unfortunately, that one was already full by 2:30 PM.

So I came back to São Miguel, not expecting much—but I was pleasantly surprised. The lady at reception was very kind and welcoming. The bed was €14, and the entire place was clean. No sign of bedbugs (at least I didn’t have any trouble).

The kitchen was well-equipped, with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and all the basic tools you’d need. There were enough bathrooms for the 30 guests, and the Wi-Fi worked fine in the living room.

All in all, this turned out to be a very good place to stay. I think most pilgrims will enjoy their time here.

Dirtiest and most bugs I saw throughout my whole trip- most people had left by 6am -

This put me off and I booked nice hotels for a few days after this - but in my opinion you miss out on the community and pilgrim experience

They could do with a decorate - some bleach and a bug killing zapper -in my opinion

10€ May 2023. Nice rooms, free laundry washing, kitchen and quite cozy living room. Shower is okay. Not the best, but there’s hot water (just wait a bit until it comes). There are benches outside - nice to have a snack there, enjoying the sun and cool down. There’s a mercado not far from the albergue. You can also get a stamp there and good pastry.

Its not Donative, the price is 5€.
First, you have to register at the Red Cross.

No problem to register at Red Cross. Spacious living room. Some mould in room. One big room for all. Kitchen small and no kettle. Washing was free. Lovely garden outside.

We thought Albergues were walk in and first served and we were surprised that it could pre-booked.
And annoyed that one person grabbed all lower bunks for walking group that had not arrived!

I would plan my route so that I do not have to sleep here. Mold, very simple spaces. But the shower area is ok if you like lukewarm water. Price 5 euros.
