This albergue features five dorm rooms at least two of which accommodate 30 people. The rooms are packed with minimum space between double bunks so if your gear doesn’t fit under the bunk it’s in the aisle. The room is hot because there is insufficient ventilation. As a result I left the hostel at 230am because of snorers above and next to me. The chances of that are unfortunate but with that many people in one room it’s not surprising. I do not recommend this hostel as a place to sleep.
I suggest they reduce the number of beds and provide some separation and subdivision like many other places along the way.

ok municipal albergue with a kitchen, but no pots, pans cutlery etc. However there is a small fridge and a microwave. Washing machines and dryers available. The price on the app says 12€, but it is 10€.

Had a great hot shower and the kitchen seems quite modern. It doesn’t seem full yet (almost 4pm) as there are a few dorm rooms not yet opened.

Today’s section from Sarria to Portomarin was the nicest I’ve had (scenery and track) since I started at Saint Jean in France.

Portomarin was our first stop and were surprised how many people do the camino without carrying there own stuff!!! Lots of people have there luggage brought from one alberque to the next and make reservations. This makes it hard for pilgrims who carry their own backpacks and who don’t want a pre arranged camino to find a bed. Luckily the government provides place like this without prebooking. It was clean and cheap. You have a bed and hot shower. What else do you need!
