I arrived on Vigo during lunch time and as it was my first day I needed to get a pilgrim passport. Tourist office was under construction and city hall was closed. So I went to the Albergue. The lady at the reception didn’t let me in without pilgrim passport but she didn’t had a blank one for me. Then she sent me to the police station and they didn’t have them as well. At the end I went to the church and finally got one. Why don’t they know such things. The room was packed and people were very noisy all the time.

I stayed at the albergue in Vigo two nights ago. The bed and facility was clean. There is a laundry room to wash by hand, or to pay for a Maschine. As the reviews mention, the kitchen is a large room but with minimal accessories for cooking/eating. Small grocery and stores a few minutes walk away. No WiFi - unless you have a Spanish number.

Not sure if it was the language barrier, (although I tried my best Spanish), but the welcome lady was not welcoming at all.

Not only was checking in a huge effort for her, she then swanned about, switching all the lights on in the rooms, when clearly people were resting.

The rest of the hostel is fine, acknowledging the lack of cooking equipment. Good for 10 Euros.

Clean, modern albergue. Nice staff. Great location. I just wish I would have known that you cannot register for the wifi without a Spanish phone number to receive the username and password via text.

النزل هو ملك للبلدية. موقع إستراتيجي على البحر على بعد عدو أمتار من الكاتدراءية والمسامح والمدينة الأثرية. نظيف وحديث مع مصعد.
اما اللذين يكتبون عن سلبيات النزل فليتذكروا انهم صرفوا ١٠ يورو ويتذكروا أيضا ان في بلادهم لا يوجد نزل ملا للبلدية او ان البلديات شبه معدومة هناك.

Et albergue i fin tilstand, bad og toiletforhold er i en rigtig god standard, gode vaske og tørrefaciliterer dog med den undren at der er et dejligt køkken dog uden redskaber samt gryder og pander…

It's 10€ in May 2024. Modern, clean, spacious and basic. I accept the barebone kitchen but wish there's at least a few vending machines for coffee, cold drinks, snacks etc. It was pouring rain when we stayed here so not having to wander out again would have been very nice.

You only get a pillow and a bed with plug in, with a bed lamp.
You can’t rent or loan duvets/blankets. You need your own sleeping bag.
The only possibility of cooking is heating in the microwave.

Sweet host and is located central and has accessibility to a supermarket and many other stores in walking distance.
