We were blessed to be put in the handicapped room (maybe because we showed up first?) with a private bathroom—for only €15 each. Great location; no food but local bars/restaurants are close. Lovely terrace and convenient laundry area. Wonderful staff! Our last stop before Santiago—very relaxing and welcoming. Supermercado across the street.

Good price, very friendly employees, laundry service, amazing little kitchen well-stocked with pots and pans, and a great outdoor area with lots of space perfect for socializing or getting some time to yourself, whichever you prefer. Loved the little touches, such as the shampoo they left out for peregrino use. Would definitely come here again next time I do the Francés.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Dorm a little soulless but it has a good kitchen, garden and bathroom. Maybe could do with an additional shower or two. Perfectly OK place to stay. Staff were lovely.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

The dormitory feels a little like a prison- poor lighting, creaky metal beds, very dense with mediocre ventilation. That said, there are lockers, some shelving, plugs by each bed, and blankets available.

They have fabric sheets (which I greatly prefer to disposable)
There is an ample and attractive garden. The kitchen space was clean and orderly. There is a vending machine for cans of beer and snacks. Restaurants are nearby. The location is fantastic for an easy finish in the morning.

The showers were ok. Though not very many of them for the number of beds.

Everything was very clean and well cared for.

I stayed at this albergue four out of my five caminos, the location is 10 k prior to the finish line, so it makes it perfect to arrive next day early and not tired.
The Albergue has everything you need, and the staff are very helpful. They also have privet rooms. They have a store right across the street, and restaurants in all directions that offer peregrino menu of the day.
I am just satisfied with this place and the price is peregrino friendly.

Clean albergue with all amenities. Nice kitchen, open yard in the back to hang laundry, restrooms were clean. I went in October and it was pretty chilly in the room. Use your sleeping bag and layer up with the thick blankets that are provided.

There is a supermarket right across the road next to where the Camino continues.

Coming off the Norte, I had stayed on a wide range of Albergues. This is very very disappointing- taking advantage of pilgrims wanting a short final day. The dormitory was damp and cold. Heating not turned on. At €14 it felt bad value. The owners were cordial and kind, but think need to adjust priorities.

They turn the heat on at night. The cost of electricity in Spain is astronomical, and the albergues cannot afford to run heat for an empty space.

They provide blankets, also!

A wonderful albergue.

Be warned, though - they don’t open until 2pm because they are cleaning, and they take it very seriously. 😊
