If you fancy a dip in the sea or just a stroll along a beach, Arcade and Pontesampaio (a bridge away) will oblige. Follow the camino to the bridge over the estuary where you will find a strip of sand on both sides.

Found the cutest and incredibly fun breakfast place right off the Camino route. We were looking for breakfast, and Acuña is right on the path and looked great. But we had a friend who really wanted some eggs, so we turned left and left again to Bocateria La Creacion- amazing food (and lots of options- yogurt, eggs and bacon, pastries, etc), amazing coffee, and a kitty robot delivered your food! I giggled for hours after, it was just so cute! Reasonably priced as well! 5 minute or less walk from Acuña on the route.

Beautiful apartment just off Camino. You check in at the restaurant just past hostel and speak with Tomas. The restaurant has great food. The hostel has different accommodations depending on what you want with washer and dryer.👍👍

I do not know if it is because of the season but it was closed!

We stayed at hostel Albergue o Mesón which was nice! Sheets, towels, blankets 12.90€ and a big room with washer, drier, kitchen.

Very clean and the beds do not make noises!

Has its one cafeteria down the road, 20m, where you can eat cheap but okay! For example Spagetti with Tomate Sauce for 4 €!

We stayed a night in hotel las Islas in Arcade which was much better than the one star the hotel has, at least with a room with balkon and sea view. Great stay and nice garden with a swimmingpool , go if you have the time.

I agree with others who say this is a great place to eat. The owners and staff were amazing and the food was excellent! We were there during mid-afternoon and loved it. We won’t forget this experience.

Crossing the highway to walk a smaller road only to have to cross the highway beginning is unnecessary danger given there is a high lock that point

We had an amazing evening meal here of pulpo, paella, and tarta de Santiago. Plenty of wine and grappa and a warm welcome. All for €16. It feels very homely - the cook/ proprietor is a lovely older woman and her husband, and she can really cook.

Camino de Sant…

Very modern. Sheets and towel included in 12 euro price. Located on N side of Arcade about 100m after the bridge on the camino. Well signed so easy to find.

Stayed at Filla do Mar. Nice cafe attached, and free washer/dryer. Overall clean and modern. I was placed in albuerge next door, which looks like someone’s home but is also clean and not over crowded. The views coming into town are beautiful.

Camino de Sant…

Excellent three-course home-cooked pilgrim meal at Hotel Isape as well as clean comfortable rooms.
