Trying to tackle the 10 km climb up to O’Cebriero in late afternoon (certainly during early spring and autumn is foolhardy. Better still, stay here and ready for the climb in the morning refreshed.

Carlos was a great host and not enough can be said about Luis fabulous homemade culinary skills.

Highly recommended and glad my fellow pilgrims suggested it the night before. It is definitely worth considering if you take either of the non-road routes (Pradela or Dragonte).

Cosy rooms, great local dishes (there are 2 menus) and the bar and shop have lots of charm and character.
It really is a great place to stay … not sure about the other negative reviews. The staff were fantastic.

The female in charge is extremely rude to all customers. I was overcharged for my room and would not give a refund but only credit at the bar. For a pilgrim stop in the Camino it is a must avoid.

Clean room and linens and an okay shower. Staff not welcoming at all. Pilgrims’ menu very basic. The only saving grace was the Pilgrims’ Mass and blessing just steps away. O Cebreiro is charming but I wish it felt more like the Camino.

It's the first building in front of the church when you get into town. Nice room, clean, restaurant on site. Be sure t9 check out the gift shop opposite. Has lot's of pilgrims needs.

Camino de Sant…

40€ gets you a double room for a night’s. We stayed here a few weeks ago when we got snowed in. The power went out it about 6 hours and we were told this regularly happens in this town. If here again, I would choose to stay here.
