One of the most incredible location. If you are tired take the funicular. 2 Euros. Well worth it. Very modern and clean. Has washer and dryer. A lot of showers and toilets. Limited option for groceries. Make sure you have dinner covered.

It’ worth the stairs or the 2€ for the elevator. Very clean, very modern. You make the reservation on their web site, choose your room and you receive a code to enter. No recepcion. But reminde that the restaurant is open only until 17.30 so or you eat in town or you bring food - kitchen is well equiped. You can also order food from Glovo and others.

There is a 'sting in the tail' to get up all the stairs but if you are able...do it!!! Views are beautiful & dorms & bathrooms are comfortable & clean. Just a reminder - the restaurant closes at about 17:30 and if you dont bring food with you, you could go to sleep hungry. There is a kitchen & vending machine ;-).

Just a warning in case you don't realise where this albergue actually is. There are hundreds of steep stairs to climb which is tough after a long day's walk. From June there's a fernicular (elevator) available but until then it's a long way up. I was surprised by that yesterday and it nearly did me in.

The views are exceptional and the church is lovely which was a silver lining of my most challenging day yet. I was the only one in my room too which was great!
Also, there's no food available up there so be prepared for that.
Enjoy!!

Super modern, clean albergue that’s worth the €15 price tag. You get a towel too. The views across the city and Bay Area from up where the albergue is based are amazing.

Note that it is up a steep hill, which is an extra 30/40 minutes walking from the town. If you’re tired you might want to grab a taxi.

Camino de Sant…

When reserving online you receive instructions on how to enter. Inside there’s several rooms with 6-8 beds, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry+dryer (you need 2x 1 eu coins for each) and even a stamp so you can add it to your pilgrim passport! We were here practically alone! Scenery around it is beautiful too (bit of a climb but worth it!) Beds are great and towels provided. Well spent 15 eu!
