Esposende is another popular summer resort town, though one which is much more subdued than cities to the south. It has a quant small town feel and a broad seaside boardwalk that is popular among the locals.

The Road

There are multiple ways through town but the easiest is along the pedestrian path near the sea.  When it comes to an end follow the natural bend in the road to the right. From there the camino turns inland towards Marinhas.

Sea soul is a great very equiped great outdoor bbq and even a pool.

I have to agree with the comment below. Seal Soul is amazing, the best hostel I have stayed in after staying all over the world! For 20€ it can't be beaten!

Camino de Sant…

Sie starten in Esposende am Ende des Weges und finden den Weg entlang der Küste bis Viana do Castelo. Es ist ein kleinerd Abenteuer, weil man kaum signalisation Findet. Aber es ist eine sehr schöne Route entlang des Meeres. Schöne Dünen und Strände.
Seien Sie darauf vorbereitet, viel mehr Zeit einzuplanen als bei der Nutzung der bekannten Routen.
Es gibt sogar eine neue Brücke in Rio neive, die viel näher am Meer liegt. Gerade erst im Juli 2019 eröffnet. Dieser Tagesabschnitt ist außergewöhnlich und lohnt jeden Schritt :-).

Camino de Sant…

Ich bin von Esposende ueber die Küste gelaufen. Achtung packt genug zu trinken ein. Es gibt keine Bars oder Wasserspender bis Mar.
Bin in Mar raus auf die Straße und da gab es eine Bar.
Dann weiter an der Straße entlang bis Belinho. ein gelber Pfeil nach rechts und das Abenteuer beginnt. Dachte teilweise ich bin im. Jungle. Klasse weg. Eine gut begehbare Brücke führt über den Fluss und dann steil bergauf nach Castello do Noiva.
Dazwischen seht ihr rechts eine Memorienrafel. Georg Gluni was her. gegenueber ein witziger Frisoer Laden
Die Herberge ist sehr spartanisch, es gibt nichts zu essen kaufen. Die Betten Matratzen sind mit Gummi überzogen.es gibt so sicher keine Bettwanzen. Ich werd weiterziehen.

Camino de Sant…

Beautiful pension and possibly one of the best. Very clean and well run. There is a small pool, bar and nice gardens to relax, but the beach and the local restaurant was superb.
