The host Lucy was lovely but I’m afraid this hostel could do with a good clean, a mow of the lawns & the enclosed sunroom needs some cooling or blinds to make it pleasant to sit in! Unfortunately another guest staying also decided to set the a/c to 17 degrees so thru the night the room became very cold & we woke up feeling very sore😩

This hostel is big but had all you needed. Inclu blankets if cold.
Lucy was really caring and helpful. I really appreciated it.

I was travelling solo, and there was not much socialising on the roof area.
It was a Saturday an no pilgrim meals available in the restaurants.
A short strol into the centre with a supermarket close by and night market.

After a long day's walk in the rain, Lucy was exceptionally welcoming, kind and eager to communicate in English. Facilities are clean, showers are warm, bunk beds have privacy curtains and there is onsite laundry for a few euros.

A little privacy, however the showers are less than desirable. Just a little out of town with a supermarket close by.

I went to book via booking after 5pm but it said there were no beds left so I called and they had beds. I explained I would arrive about 7.30pm and it was not a problem. They asked me to phone when I arrived as they would be gone by then. When I got there, the very friendly and welcoming Lucia arrived to check me in. For a standard Albergue, it was lovely to arrive to her big smile and kindness. I had a bottom bunk - and it was so comfy. Really wide beds, cotton bottom and top sheet plus blanket, really wide comfy pillow with cotton slip, privacy curtain, lamp etc. Everything was clean and tidy.
Just don’t use the female shower with the window - the temperature doesn’t stay in one place as the water pressure is so intense (it will rip your skin off.) I like a strong shower, but this was painful and swung from hot to cold every few seconds. The other two showers were perfect! Check out is approx 8am but not strict. It is by a road but I didn’t hear it - I was so tired and the bed was so comfy!

We booked through booking and when we got there the lovely host Lucia, said they didn’t have any bed left but would happily take us to another place. Not sure if it belonged to the same person but it was amazing. Nice bed, nice pillow, nice showers and nice restaurants near by. ❤️

This hostel is open year round, which for us, walking in February, was a blessing! We called through Whatsapp in the morning to reserve beds - and Lucía/Lucy greeted us warmly and chatted with us about philosophical concepts. Great showers and everything we needed in the kitchen. Comfy pillow!

The upper floor showers were broken and one toilet out of use. Lucy herself disappeared at around 5:30 and nothing was cleaned. The ground floor showers were fine and everything else seemed in order. A bit noisy because it is right on the highway but not far from the town which is great for food and stores.

Lucy is very friendly and the hostel is clean, convenient and has all the amenities you’d want. And very comfy bunks.

This albergue is delightful. It’s really quiet and close to town, and only 50m from the route. Clean and comfortable with curtains round the lovely big comfy bunks. Recommended 👍🏼
