I stayed here and it was fine. Lovely staff, clean, but absolutely no personality and the food options in town were just okay. I'm bummed walking this morning through A Balsa, just 1km or so on from Tricastela, to have come across an incredibly well reviewed family run albergue. They serve a vegan communal meal! If this is the kind of Camino you're after I think the tiny extra walk would be well worth it.

I had a fabulous private room with two single beds, proper sheets and private bath. Everything was super clean and comfortable. There are laundry facilities and a communal living room with a leg massager 😱
Would not hesitate to stay here again.

There was a comment posted here that someone had an experience with bedbugs. I think that was either along time ago or that was a malicious comment. The mattresses and the pillows are the usual plastic covered and you get a disposable sheet. Everything was super clean when I came but I feel bad that that previous comment seems to be hurting business. It works in my favor there are only three of us in a 12 person bunk room tonight. There’s a nice balcony, good windows for lots of ventilation and the albergue seems quiet. There are new lockers with locks and you can use the washer and dryer.
