Wonderful albergue owned by Dries and his dog Otto. Swimming pool, outstanding organic dinner and breakfast, only 9 places available in very comforable selfmade beds and boxtop (!) matressess. . All the furniture is handmade by owner. Also a threehouse, terras with hangmucks to relax and watch the amazing scenery of the beautiful nature around... Dries walked lots of caminos and helps pilgrims with all they need to know for the continuation of your trip.

At the intersection you need to go to the right for about 500m to reach Casa Alternativo. But no worries ! Following day there is no need to go threw the industrial zone and you don't need to go back to the intersection either: There's a shortcut right next to Casa Alternativo wich brings you straight to the green way (complementario), only about 100m! So no industrial zone needed!

Such an amazing place. Very welcoming. Very heart warming. Host Dries, and his uncle are amazing people. Loved the dog too, so smart. What a nice environment. Just what you need after a long walk. Dinner and breakfast prepared with care, so special. Nice background music, and we woke up to music as well just in time for breakfast, no need to set the alarm. Very memorable stay. One of the best. Will definitely stay again.

Ditto! Dries and his dog Otto are wonderful friendly hosts. We were walk-ins and got a room with twin beds. Fabulous service, food (organic and lovingly prepared) and company. Dries prepared an itinerary for us flow strollers for the Spir variant. He’s an expert on Caminos with terrific advice. Do go and enjoy.

It was a wonderful stay with Dries and Otto (dog). I arrived before the check in time. However I could just rest on the Terrasse and was even offered a soup to warm up. Dries is very passionate about his place and he has every right to. It’s clean, some of the best food (three course dinner and breakfast), all build by himself and friends and very good mattresses.
Thanks for having me!

The best place I’ve stayed in walking from Porto. Dries is a wonderful host and have walked all the Caminos himself, so he got tons of experience and knows what a pilgrim needs. Lots of great stories too.
Got a 3-course meal when I was there in May and a nice breakfast. You can’t go wrong with this place. Great value for money.
