I couldn’t recommend this delightful 2-bedroom and very reasonable-priced private cottage enough! The perfect place to ease the legs into walking 10km if starting out in Sarria (or if you preferred to exchange an overnight stay in bustling Sarria for some countryside peace!), it’s conveniently located right on the Camino and you’ll have the place all to yourself.

The fluffiest towels, a huge BATH (pilgrims who started before Sarria - take note!) and lots of little touches such as little cakes, soft drinks, beers and milk in the fridge. Plus the lovely host offers some tantalising homemade dinner options for those who don’t wish to cook in the well-stocked kitchen and her lovely mother did our laundry.

If you’re craving peace, relaxation and a homely stay, look it up on booking.com and rejuvenate for the final stretch to Santiago!

Restaurant doesn’t open till 130. Has a covered patio for cafe/bar service. Sandwhiches, pizza, tortilla, empanadas. Go inside to order. Has bathroom outside for use if purchasing from cafe/bar. Kas limón and café con leche 3.70€. Sello outside for easy access.

There is a Cafe as soon as you enter town. They open at 8:30. They have vending machines on the premises as well.

A little further down the Camino, about 50 m, there are more vending machines as well.

They opened a little early bc they saw me eyeing the vending machine. Big outdoor area with umbrellas and covered patio. Stamp available at the little table outside.

I offered to pay 5 euros to get to the washroom because they say customer only. I did not need food but I was expected to do line up for food then line up for washroom. Viva la nature!
