Camino de Sant… (not verified)

We stayed here a few days ago before heading over the Hospitales, there is a path leading up to it directly opposite the hostel. It had a very peaceful atmosphere and we were welcomed there by Javi the host. The meal was filling tasty & everyone enjoyed the community spirit of the evening. Laundry was provided. The horreo was a delightful part of our stay, sitting in the old grain store looking out across the views and using the massage rollers and yoga mats to stretch out our achey legs. The garden has a badminton net for those who could muster the energy! Beds were bunks in small individual rooms. A really pleasant place to spend the evening. This is a donativo-style hostel. It was brilliant and we are grateful to have stayed there!

Javier made us all feel welcome. Our laundry was done for us, we were provided with a wonderful communal meal with his own freshly made bread. He shared useful information about the Hospitales route. The outside space was great too with space for yoga and sitting under the trees. After a communal breakfast we were all ready to face the hill. Memories were made here.

The food was amazing, the host is an excellent chef! The rooms are a bit cold, blankets provided but are thin. Small rooms of 2-4 people each, bunk beds very squeaky. Hot shower. Some communal hang out spots included hammocks and a yoga area in a raised wooden building.

The food is fantastic, the atmosphere Xavier creates with his wonderful explanation of the Ruta ahead… and the bread… to die for! Give generously- and the lovely horreo a great place to stretch/meditate.

Camino de Sant…

Rooms a bit small but Javier is outstanding and the food is outstandi ng.

Camino de Sant…

One of those not to be missed albergues, great food, comfy beds, plenty of hot water and an amazing position with views of the mountains. So peaceful and a wonderful atmosphere.

Must say that i agree with everybody here!!!
And eventhough it looks like it is a bit down the road, and not on the Hospitales, it is actually very very close to the split!!

Just one and a half minute to the hospitales way, only. Small foot path from the auberge. Very very comfortable

Camino de Sant…

Javier has created a warm and welcoming refuge for Pilgrims. The food is good and the hospitality is gracious.
