The Road

From the municipal albergue, descend to the road and follow it downhill and on the left-hand side. You will pass Ninho – The Pilgrim Nest and then dogleg left.

Another Roman bridge is not far ahead. Beyond the bridge the camino returns to the road and crossed directly over it, keeping the bar on your right. It will rejoin and depart the road twice more before arriving in Pecene.

Neither Albergue showed any sign of life around 1300 but the restaurant was open. The manger said the Albergue opened around 1900 so we pushed on. Restaurant was a real oasis as this stretch from Ponte de Lima In January on. Sunday was quite sparse services wise.

Camino de Sant…

It was easy to find just beyond the church on the Caminó. We are here on Wednesday May 8. There seems to be quite a few options for stopping here. This place was listed in Brierley’s guide.
