Follow the camino along the coast. Shortly before arriving to Apúlia the camino splits, and this time the preferred route (for being more direct) takes you away from the beach.

One of our favorite stays. Entrance right along the coastal and amazing view from the upstairs balcony that is shared and extra large with lounge chairs. We had a two bedroom with huge bathroom and full kitchen and living room. Right on the beach. $127 for two but could have slept 4. Close to a grocery store and several restaurants. Buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the sunset view.
Host met us and was very kind and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

Albergue’s receptionist addressed us to a private house that was a complete scam! 20 eur per person for a room that included a bed and an inflatable mattress, it was not private as there were other rooms with other people, and only one bathroom for all. No breakfast included, they told us by phone there was a washing machine and when we got there there was none. Walls full of Moho. The worst experience so far in the Camino Portuguese

Even if it's advertised as opened all albergues are closed except Mar Rosa.
Had to uber to the next village.

Hi

Seems there is a shortage of accomodations in 2023
with many places booked out.

On our Camino we stayed at a lovely accomodation called Aloamiento Tapa Jowhich was not on your list.

The albergue opened May 2022, so the facilities are new and wonderfully clean. There is a fully functioning kitchen, so you can go to the supermarket round the corner, if you wish. There’s also a restaurant 100m from the albergue - ask for the sardines off menu! There’s also a nice beach café to enjoy the sunset.

When we stayed in Aguçdoura, we found this wonderful restaurant - give it a try 😉. The hostess was so charming and the restaurant itself was so cute😉. Remember to bring cash.

New albergue right on the camino at the entrance of the town right across from the beach. Supermarket, cafes all walking distance. Full kitchen all new and fresh. enjoy ! €15. I think theres 24 beds

Camino de Sant…

Leaving Aguçadoura, when you get to the parking area, the arrows point to your right (onto the main road). There is a new boardwalk straight ahead, that goes along the golf course and orbitur camping, maybe it's not quite finished, but walkable. It is certainly better than cobblestone, roadside, walking. We did the latter, because guides and arrows were all pointing the same way, and we regret it. August 2019

Camino de Sant…

Great accommodation between Aguçadoura and Apúlia. €22 for private cabin for two, but really peaceful and comfortable. Even a pool and restaurant with pilgrims meal, 4-course. Well recommended.
