I've stayed in over 70 Albergues. Non of them can match the wonderful experience I had at Allison and Albertos awsome Albergue!!!

This is my third Camino, and this albergue is one of my top three. The host and hostess obviously care a lot. And I love that we are all forbidden to set alarms on our phones and instead agree on a time to be woken up by lovely music for a delicious breakfast. This is what makes the Camino special. And it is a Donativo, so please be as generous as you can!

This is a wonderful albergue, ones of those stops that make the Camino special.

So much care and attention is from the host on taking care of the pilgrims that stay. She even washes your clothes for you, although apparently it’s the elves that do it while we sleep.

For me, this is a MUST STAY ALBERGUE

Allyson is fantastic and speaks English and Spanish. She has been a host of this Albergue for only a week right now but she has done many Caminos and knows how to provide an authentic and welcoming pilgrim experience.

Hot shower, pilgrim dinner at 7:30, breakfast, free laundry for the clothes you had worn that day, and Allyson can provide advice for the days ahead.

The albergue has 11 beds only. It is a very popular albergue due to the extreme hospitality of the hosts David and Cellia, so do book in advance if you do not want to get disappointed. The phone number is not updated so check e.g. Gronze.com

Camino de Sant…

Also highly recommend. David is wonderful. The communal dinner was fabulous with a tasty salad and bean and potato soup, along with bread, flan or yogurt. . He even does your laundry. Warm and inviting.

Camino de Sant…

I felf home in this albergue. A young couple is running the place with full heart and love. Very clean and friendly dining room with a small library, nice and not so crowded room, nice bathroom. Excellenr dinner and breakfast, also some welcome drink and bites. The best place since Irun!

Camino de Sant…

All the blogs were right. This place is a must stay. Days and days down the Camino and I am still running into my family met at this place over communal dinner and breakfast. I won’t spoil the magic, but stay here for a taste of heaven, love, and generosity by David.
