Nice place! Good price! I slept as women in one room alone with 4 more beds and few men stayed in big room.
I took ferry/water taxi in the morning around 8:20. It's better to make reservation online!!! Don't panic, when there is no ferryman, ask lady in kiosk, she can call him.

We asked to stay but the albergue was full. We told the hospitalero we had sleeping mats with us and that we could sleep on the floor in a room where our friends were staying, but he refused due to “safety concerns”.
We were allowed to eat in with our friends, but at 21:30 we were thrown out due to noise complaints nobody submitted (no pilgrim came from the sleeping area), way before silent hour (22:30). Our stuff was in the hostel, but we could not collect it: basically part of our backpack (and shoes) were stolen. Luckily our friends brought it outside, but they were scolded and threatened to be expelled as well. By that time the door was locked as well, preventing anyone from leaving, talking about security…
He advised us to go and sleep with our tent in a city park, where at 3AM sprinklers went off and wetted one of us who was in a hammock

TL;DR unhelpful guy running the albergue almost stole our stuff

This albergue us once again open.

Camino de Sant…

This Albergue is currently under renovation. There are no helpful suggestions to alternatives posted anywhere. All three numbers provided on the door rings out. After a very long walk, one expect some kind of assistance regarding alternatives. Nada. No callbacks .

Camino de Sant…

Old, smelly, mouldy Albergue. Health risk - pay extra and get yourself a proper place to stay, just for one night then.

Camino de Sant…

Don't use this Albergue. Remember the ferry only goes at 14h00 on a Sunday, €1.5 or €5 fisherman's boat. Better to go into Spain if you can.

Camino de Sant…

The Albergue is okay, there‘s one big room for 26 people and a small one for 4. It opens at 2pm and gives places to stay according to the order of arrival, so make sure you’re on time! (They do not allow more than 30 pilgrims.) Bathrooms are not that nice but works when you don’t have high expectations. It has a great kitchen and washing sinks for clothes.

Camino de Sant…

This albergue is closed. It's not noted anywhere else that I could find that the albergue was closed but I found out as soon as I walked up to the door and the sign says it's closed. I was hoping for help to get to the other side of the Minho River to A Guarda since the ferry and the water taxis were not running.
