Bed bugs

The is an open floor plan sleeping area. 130 beds all in one big room divided by curtains. The hosts were pleasant, but this is a business.
Beds small, cannot sit up straight on the bottom bunk. Has limited plugs for charging. The bathroom is interesting as the showers do not have enough space for your things and so need to be placed outside the door. The face a wall of mirrors that faces the door to the hallway. Not great.
Has a fantastic view of the lake.

There was a large group 60+ of teenagers and many people not really walking. There are large suitcases spilled out all through the room. At 10:00 pm, I asked the managers when it would be quiet and the lights be off. She said not until 10:30. There is a party going on right in the dorm room where I am trying to sleep although there is an area in the kitchen. The manager asked people to be quieter and was ignored. I asked her if I could turn off the lights and I was ignored. She just walked out of the room.

This is a large Albergue with 130 beds. However, having stayed in large Municipals I didn’t think it would be a problem. It was clean but now the bathroom s disgusting. The dorm rooms are cluttered to the point d being dangerous. it is a party house and I won’t be getting much sleep. I could have been told or warned about this when I registered but nothing was said. It is a nightmarish experience and credibly frustrating. It is not an Albergue for pilgrims. Avoid.

Very clean, proper cotton sheets for the bed and well organised by the women who work there. It does get very busy and the bunk bed sections of the room are divided by curtains which gives the feeling of a bit of privacy. They offer breakfast for €2.50.. usual coffee or juice with a pastry or toast. Small bathrooms for the amount of people but it works.

Camino de Sant…

Such a nice albergue! Super clean, well-managed, awesome view, nice common area and patio outside. Would recommend!

Camino de Sant…

Just a heads up, I had a night booked for midOctober2020 thay they had to cancel because they will be closing for the season early due to lack of pilgrims. Not sure what early means but sometime within the next few weeks. Posting this 12 sept 2020
