Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I had a nice lunch stop here with their menu del dia for 12€ with 5€ upgrade for their Galician beef and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Spain. They had a nice outside terrace and great service

We stayed in a private room with shower. Comfortable and convenient. They have a huge restaurant and bar, terraza with a great view, outdoor clothes lines to hang your laundry after washing. Laundry service is available too. The food was tasty and there’s good variety to choose from. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8am.

Camino de Sant…

5 Star albergue. Warm and inviting. Dorm room with 6 lower beds. Warm fireplace. Delicious dinner! You can't go wrong!

Camino de Sant…

nice and clean, all single beds in the dorm room. plenty of hot water. lovely meals

Camino de Sant…

Friendly inviting hosts. Private or dorm rooms. Food was good and sangria excellent. Highly recommend

Camino de Sant…

This place felt a bit like a lodge, with beds above the bar, a back room with a cozy fireplace, and even a fun, sassy guy running the bar. I thought the beds over bar might be a problem but it was not! The dining room closed up at a reasonable hour and sleeping was quiet. Single beds! Such joy. Cramped but there are only 6 here so it was fine. Did not use the shower so I can’t comment on that. The pilgrim dinner was tasty. Pro tip: leaving in the morning can be confusing - the door in the dining room that leads to the restaurant courtyard, then from the courtyard through the big wood doors is your exit. I stumbled around for 20 min in the dark to bring you this information! Haha. -A

Camino de Sant…

Cozy albergue with single beds and a good bar/restaurant. Very clean and incredibly friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

Camino de Sant…

I have just arrived and when I walked in I was blown away. It’s now 12 Euros but worth every penny. There’s only 4 beds in my room and so far no one else has arrived. All singles, no bunks. There’s an en-suite bathroom and there’s a communal area for all the pilgrims in different rooms to hang out in. It’s much more like a hotel then an alburgue. 10/10 so far!

If you have any flexibility, do not rush to Portomarin and miss Casa Morgade. Take a short day from Sarria and rest here. We stayed in a spotlessly clean double room with a private bathroom. Slept like a baby. And the food was so good. So fortifying and so much healthier than what we’d been eating. Yes, you can still get fries and lovely cakes, but it is all homemade with care and attention. Options abound for lunch and dinner. Homemade lentil soup, fish, sandwiches, salad, bear and wine, anything you want for breakfast from granola to eggs and bacon. Delicious. Beautiful setting. Sunny and shady patios. Friendly dog and cat.

Camino de Sant…

Very nice albergue with brand new and modern dormitories. Only 4 beds per room, no bunk beds. Restaurant with terrazza. Great food, even several vegan options including vegan hamburger and vegan bolognaise. Highly recommended!
