Fire in the fireplace on these rainy days. They washed my clothes and did everything to make me feel welcome as if it was just everything they wanted to do to help pilgrims have a great time.
They are kind, and the albergue is very clean and very close to the cathedral.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I booked there one week before. I have seen that they wrote it in their list. I went to Finistera and when I came back, sorry we have no booking for you and everything is full.

Camino de Sant…

Antonio was a very polite, helpful hospitalero. Great view of the cathedral from the bathroom window. The only disadvantage was where showers and toilets are situated. Beds are on second floor, but restrooms and showers are on third floor. It’s such an inconvenience to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, especially if one has severe tendonitis on both knees. Conveniently located close to restaurants, shops and cathedral.

Camino de Sant…

October 2021, €18. I have stayed in a few Albergues in Santiago over the years and this is by far my favourite. Location is brilliant - so close to the cathedral, but also tucked away in a quiet corner with a nice vibe and a couple of bar/restaurants, but which were not noisy at night.
Antonio was friendly and helpful. There is a good communal area for sitting, relaxing and a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook.
There is also a garden to use for relaxing in or drying clothes.
The beds had white cotton sheets and blankets which I really appreciated.
The view from the bathroom window is also awesome.
I thought it was good value for its central location and good quality.
I would return here another time… if I walk another Camino!

Camino de Sant…

ALWAYS I come here! I can’t totally describe it, but it’s just the perfect place to finish my camino before Finesterre and Muxia. I came here five years ago with five of my children and we were so welcomed, a fire was going, chestnuts were being cooked, and a kitchen was available! We felt like we were being checked in by family! Returned when we did the portuguese and now look forward to arriving tomorrow night!!!!
