There is not much to San Miguel apart from the modest church and the bar-grocery-everything store. The quaint countryside walking will soon give way to the sprawl of Pontecesures.

There is a new bar serving good food, drinks, potato chips etc. friendly staff clean and comfortable. It is on your right as you enter town up some steps across from the church and cemetery overlooking this quaint town. Nice gentle ramp exit as you walk on to get your legs moving again.
