Des hospitaliers enfin à la hauteur de ce que j'avais connu sur mon chemin en France. Ils sont accueillants à l'écoute aimables. Ils offrent une variété de nourriture saine savoureuse et en quantité. Un vrai plaisir de se trouver à leur table et être reçu par Sergio et Emmanuella. Ils font tout pour vous faire plaisir et vous rendre service je leur souhaite une bonne continuation.

Yes! This is the kind of place that you want to be. Sergio is welcoming and friendly and makes a hell of a dinner. And the coffee is actually good!!! Laundry was done for me and I had extra time to relax.

Stayed at la ferreria. The albergue is owned by a kind and generous couple. They open up their home and hearts. they are more then happy to give guidance and help to any pilgrim that comes thru their door. This is what the Camino is all about. Stay if you get a chance it will not disappoint.

Muy agradecida a Sergio y Edurne por abrir su casa y su corazón y por crear un auténtico ambiente de comunidad. Este es el lugar perfecto para empezar, terminar, parar, o seguir.

Die Herberge ist wirklich so schön und ansprechend wie von allen beschrieben, Sergio ist ein Gastgeber mit Leib und Seele und sorgt für alle Belange eines Pilgers inklusive Wäschewaschen, Trocknen und Zusammenlegen. Das Essen war lecker und reichlich! Nebenbei gab es viele Tipps für die kommenden Albergues, auch auf anderen Caminos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!!

A very sweet family that only have one goal, to make pilgrims feel really at home for one day.
Axel (10 yrs), son of Sergio and Edurne showed me around and explained everything. Later, hospitaleiro Maria did everything else to make you feel comfortable; we had a nice chat and she brought me a can of beer.
Later that evening we had a communal dinner while our dirty clothes were being washed.
For sure this is the best Albergue of the Camino del Norte, a PEARL and compares with David in Bodenaya on the C. Primitivo and Carlos in Ruitelan on the C. Frances.
A MUST GO place!
