There are two ways from Gafa to Ávore, one along the waterfront and one inland.

Camino de Sant…

The boardwalk from Gafa to Ávore is out about halfway in between. Additionally, sand dunes have consumed whole sections of the boardwalk, which is now 1.5m under the sand in some places. This makes it very difficult for anyone traveling with wheels, particularly strollers.
