Talk about above and beyond - I overheard another peregrina saying that she was going to have a massage and I told the owner I wanted one too but I didn't have enough cash, so they paid the massage therapist and added it to my bill so I could pay by cc!
Food was great! If you're sleeping in the dorm, avoid the beds by the toilet - the lights go on automatically and they're bright!

Most of the clients were middle aged, middle class Americans with luggage they send on by courier service.
They all stayed in the posh accommodation.
Most of them seemed to struggle with walking to the restaurant never mind walking a Camino.
The handful of pilgrims sleeping in the albergue were delightful by comparison.
I enjoyed the evening meal and the breakfast.
I found the staff to be friendly and cheerful.

I’m not sure why anybody thinks the owner is not welcoming. They were so nice to us and it was her birthday and still let us join in on her birthday party. The place is gorgeous. Very modern nice bathroom. The hot tub is not hot but pleasant place to put your sore feet with jets.

The staff acts like they would rather see your Heel than your toe. Gave up buying anyting in the café because it took so Long , and the lady there seemed like she tried to ignorere me. Apart from that it is a beautiful place with a lovely garden and a pool

We absolutely loved this place! Beautiful outdoor seating area with fish ponds, lunch served until 3:30, hammock, and strong wifi (even in the albergue). Pilgrim meal was gourmet and the best food we’ve had for only around 15€. They did our laundry. 😊 Would highly recommend this place.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I came here because it says it had wifi, it does but not in the Albergue room. It is about 500 meters away from the Camino, not really a good choice in Salceda.

The bedroom walls in the hotel are too thin, so I was kept awake and woke up by neighbours speaking at normal volume. The hotel clearly knows this since there is a request to keep the noise down from 23.00.
Food quality was very good.

The albergue is ok , but the staff are a little grumpy and the vibe is not that good . When I got there I asked the lady if she had a bottom bunk and she said ‘no , if you don’t like it go somewhere else-I said sorry I’m really tired , she said so am I . In the morning the cafe opened at 7.30 am and the chef guy served two people before I entered then wouldn’t give me a coffee because he said he had to do other things and faffed around for ages . He was kinda rude too in his manner and attitude . The evening meal though , I must say is excellent -14 euro and high quality pilgrim meal .

Camino de Sant…

A friend and I stayed in the albergue. We enjoyed the experience and great to have a few beds only. The food was outstanding so I am really surprised at some of the negative experiences. I have recommended it to several people

Camino de Sant…

The albergue was very musty and not that clean. They have a hotel as well and this was definitely their focus. They separated us for dinner unless we were in the tour group. Odd way to end the Camino. Not recommended.
