Elena is a wonderful hostess, the dinner and breakfast was simple, yet very good and filling. The facility was very clean. Elena educated on the two Norte routes and sent pilgrims off with a hug. I would stay at La Reguera again.

La Reguera is a lovely place to stay. Opens from 3pm with Elena offering dinner while washing and drying everyone’s clothes. Her wake up call at 6.45, breakfast at 7am and farewell hug are such a beautiful way to start the day. Thank you Elena.

I highly recommend staying at La Reguera. The owners of this donativo have the Camino spirit. They do the pilgrims’ laundry and provide a delicious community dinner and breakfast. Very clean and neat.

This lovely donativo is a wonderful place to stay. The beds are very comfortable. The hosts wash and dry the clothes you wore that day. Super nice. Good pilgrim atmosphere. Meal very simple but delicious. Lentil soup salad, bread and yogurt. Everyone went to bed full and the breakfast was freshly made coffee, teas or cocoa, cereals toast and jam. You leave with a warm hug.

This is my favorite albergue on the Camino! It’s like visiting a welcoming family. It’s intimate with only 11 beds and Elena prepares a wonderful dinner and breakfast. It’s just a bit off the path but with a relaxing garden and food on site you don’t need to go anywhere!

I am reflecting on my camino journey from last year.
1 year ago today I arrived at this albergue, feeling so welcomed. It's peaceful and lovely and has great energy. Elena did my laundry and joined us for the fabulous dinner she made. It was like coming home to caring and support. The rooms and space were just right. There were extra blankets. And at dinner we chatted about the lessons of the Camino and how we each have our own journey.
This was a very needed experience while moving forward. So grateful.
