Fontaine d'eau adjacente à l'église. Autour de la ville se trouvent plusieurs murets de pierre qui retenaient autrefois le bétail et les moutons, on te pardonnera de penser que le village s'écroule autour de toi.

Another recommendation for the cafe/shop at the end of the town. Look out for a Tea and Coffee sign. Helpfully the little shop sells lots of essentials like tampons, sun block and chocolate. And it's open on Bank Holidays too

Albergue Indian Way is such a genuine surprise. Such friendly hosts, warm and welcoming and so eager to share their unique albergue with you. The teepees are such a unique experience and great to have single beds - no bunks! The bathrooms were lovely - separate ladies and gents. But the best part was dinner!! The biggest, most delicious seafood paella! Absolutely my favourite!

There is an additional albergue as you enter town, called Indian Way. They have wifi, laundry, and Native American tipis to sleep in.

As someone below commented, don't stop at the first bar you come to in El Ganso. The bar as you leave town is relaxing, the staff are welcoming and the food delicious. I had the avocado toast!

There's a pleasant little cafe, market and garden rest stop right before you leave town. They're well stocked, open early (7:30 or earlier), have wifi and a friendly cat.

Try next door.
