New Owner / Hospitalero, it seems as Nobody cares If Something is broken.
Check In is completely IT based, absolut no contact to anybody, very steril.
With Juan, the charme of the albergue left as well....very sad

A wonderful place to stay. Thank you, Juan.

Just what I needed and Juan makes you feel like family. He went out and bought cheese, chorizo, bread and wine and pulled people together. And then he sang happy birthday to me and had everyone join in. Sheila also had the same birthday. She and her husband Phil were from Winnipeg. Helen from England. And a few others and it was a party.

Beautiful building and a very gregarious and generous host ! A little noisy on weekends .

Booked two beds at 20 euros each. Has bedsheet and pillow case, towels. Kitchen is fully equipped and has coffee maker and tea bags. Juan, the host was nice enough to wait for us at the door because the map took us to number 21 instead of 25. So watch out.
Even though it was right in the middle of everything we sleep well if you close the windows and use ear plugs. Separate male and female bathrooms. Very clean. Highly recommend it if you want to be in the middle of town. Eat at restaurant Daniel, 20 euros for 3 course meal with wine.

Highly recommend Covent Garden- an Awesome place to stay. Very central location in Main Street close to Cathedral, lovely shops and a great choice of restaurants, bars and cafes. We stayed 2 nights and would happily stay longer. Our host Juan was super friendly and so very helpful. He made our stay comfortable and fun for all the pilgrims there as we all gathered in kitchen area to meet and socialise. Thank you so much Juan.

If you don’t stay here you are missing out, Juan is a brilliant and flexible host, located right in the centre of the city, can be noisy on a Friday Saturday night! But great place for a rest day, we stayed 2 nights.

Spent 2 nights here, my first rest day and so glad I choose Covent Garden.
The location , the huge apartment ( 2nd floor), the bright airy 2 bunk dorm, the steaming hot shower , the glorious little balcony off the bedroom looking straight at Gaudi’s Casa Botines , the host Juan. Everything made for a perfect stay , 10 stars!

Juan has to be one of the most engaging hosteliers on the Camino… and he remembers everyone’s name! This is a wonderfully located, easy to find place on the second floor (3rd floor for those from USA 😂). It’s right by the Gaudi house, Catedral de Leon, shopping, and numerous bars/restaurants. I was in a room if 2 bunks. Men and omen have separate bathrooms. A real bath towel is provided and there are shower and personal supplies for use… including a hair dryer!! A really nice respite and down day from Camino walking. I definitely recommend this place!

Juan. The host with the most.
Linen bedding, a large towel, even shampoos in the shower.

I recommend with two thumbs up.
