Miradoux is the oldest bastide in the Gers, founded in 1253. It sits on a hilltop with panoramic views of the Gersois countryside, and on clear days, the Pyrenees. An orientation table identifies the visible features.

The Church of Saint-Orens was built from the stones of the original castle, which was demolished in the 14th century. The castle's keep was converted into an incomplete bell tower. The church blends Romanesque and Gothic elements.

This is a common overnight stop between Auvillar and Lectoure. There are gites and basic services.
