Enjoyed my stay

Owner works here and the hostel beside. You ring at reception and he is over in minutes. Food is served in the hostel. Great service and have good English. Dinner portions were big. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend. €45 for a single bed

Wished I had kept walking is right

Absent réception. Room without shades, broken curtains, no working radiator except for an electrical heater. There is no restaurant: you need to go next door. I will eat at the cafe/bar in town tomorrow morning, definitely not here. I mentioned to the munching reception this evening that the value for the one night was not correct: he did not care. Watch out for the credit cards that are not taken if they are displayed. First night since Toulouse that it was bad.

Wished I had kept walking

The rooms were clean and the restaurant down the road had good food, but as a solo female traveler I didn’t feel super comfortable with the large amounts of mostly male truck-drivers at the bar and hotel. Just something to keep in mind.
