We arrived right on the dot 1:00pm with 3 people ahead of us. Received by a very cheerful hospitalero who jokingly, but seriously, asked to see the bottom of our shoes - it has been raining. She then took a broom and swept my husband's shoes all in good spirits. Place is clean, beds are nice. Showers lack privacy.

As seems to be the case in Spanish municipals there is a lovely job, fridge and microwave but nothing to cook with, no cutlery, crockery or cookware.
Otherwise clean and warm , dorms not crowded and have own bunk lights. All dorms upstairs!!

Note on food:

While there is a stove, microwave, etc. there are no pots, pans, dishes or cutlery. Everyone here today had to walk to the Cepsa petrol station (1.6k) to find any food. Nearest supermarket closes at 14:00 and it is beyond the petrol station

Until tomorrow the 29/10-23 the albuerge is closed! It says nowhere, but here, in the window. Good luck 🫠

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

How it's can have a sign" Completo Full" at 10:45 hrs in the morning if we can't make any reservation.
Did you forgot to take the sign out yesterday last evening.

Camino de Sant…

Pretty basic. bring food as there are no shops nearby. Restaurant About 209 meters up the road is good. Wifi complicated at the albergue so count on cellular use.

Camino de Sant…

October 2021: Kitchen closed due to COVID and many nearby bars/cafes closed due to it being past the “pilgrim season”. Space is clean and host is quite nice. Areas to sit outside and a small shared common area downstairs, but albergue blocks the sun from reaching the clotheslines, so consider that if it’s not hot out. Possible access to washer/dryer on-site. FYI: it’s a typical Xunta, so showers are not separated from each other - just four heads on the wall (separated by gender, though)

Camino de Sant…

Warm heated rooms. Hot showers. Restaurant near by is open for food and beer. I washed and dried my clothes here in the machines. All spic and span for Santiago! Lovely hostess. Good wifi.
