The staff at the front desk were super helpful - agree with other posts saying they treat hostel guests no different to hotel guests.
Everything looks newly renovated and the set up is functional. There are 38 ‚cabins‘, each with 2 beds, 4 showers and 3 toilets. During the stay one toilet was out of order, another had no seat and the 3rd toilet seat was loose and had fallen off by the time I left. The biggest comment is the lack of drying space, with so many people two small drying racks doesn’t work! People were drying clothes outside the hostel entrance on the bushes, a table etc.

Beautiful place from the outside and possibly in the hotel rooms. I stayed in the half-basement albergue below the hotel. For it being newly remodeled it was sad to see so many broken things: faucet for sink, shower head holder broken away from the wall, and toilet seat sitting next to the toilet. Often the broken things were left right where they broke. No washing machine as listed, but a laundromat within a block. I didn’t see any staff in the albergue at anytime. The staff upstairs seemed overrun with pilgrims.

I had the best nights sleep here so far in the Camino Primitivo. Each pod has only two bunks with lockers. The facilities are great and the staff treat you no differently than the guests staying upstairs. Also close to some good bars and wine bars.

12€ and they charge extra for everything! 3€ for towel; 8€ for laundry; and even 1€ to lock up your stuff. There are not separate showers for women and the showers are not very private. There are plenty of beds but they make no effort to pair women in the small cubicles of four. Wifi only works in reception area and is not very reliable. No place to boil water Very clean, though and beds seem comfortable.

Camino de Sant…

I thought this place was excellent although I had the advantage of being here in the low season so there was plenty of space. The dormitory is arranged in cubicles, with two bunks in each, and a locker for each bunk (the €1 euro charge is refunded as the key is returned into the lock). I had a whole cubicle to myself, and the staff were spreading people out and giving everyone privacy. Good hot showers. Not a lot of room in the shower room (as usual). Best thing was that the staff treated the pilgrims as if we were guests of the luxury hotel upstairs. Barman was a helpful fun character. Useful having a bar and restaurant on the premises when it’s cold and wet.

Camino de Sant…

Very clean and comfortable albergue with bunks in little cubicles with only 1 or 2 bunks per cubicle. Lockers and the beds are very comfortable. A sauna and Turkish bath for a small extra fee. Highly recommended.
Excellent menu available not far away at Restaurant La Vinoteca.

Camino de Sant…

Bunks are comfortable. Place is nice. Showers were warm — coed but women went for one bathroom and men went to the other. Good to have a restaurant in the hotel especially when the weather is cold and rainy.
