We had the loveliest stay at hostal punto b! It was extremely empty (Nov) and very very little in town was open for dinner (pre-made pizzas), but our host cooked for us (14 euro) and it was INCREDIBLE. He is also offering an a La carte breakfast. Their kitchen for public use is closed but the hostel is extremely clean, updated and bright but still retaining much of the old character and exposed beams etc. would 100% recommend. The single beds in the communal area also looked beautifully laid out and divided, however they are not offered in winter. Ours was a spacious double with private bathroom (56 euro) and they also had singles (42) doubles triples and quads! Great!

The room has only low beds, 2 to a “pod” with a fan, an opening window, 2 outlets, bedspread and blankets, cubby for storage. Very clean and comfortable. The 2 beds are separated from the other pods by partitions giving a sense of privacy. When I stayed September 24,2024 not all beds were full. So nice. Meals were good. Breakfast is 11 euros but full buffet.
Highly recommend.

Such a warm and wonderful host. The dormitory was so well set up even though you shared a space.
Well organised funny and helpful.
Wonderful communal dinner. One of the best stays so far.

Best private room I’ve stayed in. Has it’s own bathroom and shower. The heat was turned on before I arrived, so the room was nice and warm. Everything was clean. $43 well spent.

Clean, well run and friendly..beware if you use booking.com as it says checkout is 11pm but its actually 9pm

He took really good care of us in the hostel and during dinner. He even got his creative juices going in taking interesting photos through a jar of water.

He gave us extra food desert, and after dinner drinks.

Joaquin, the owner, made us feel so welcome from the beginning. He was friendly, good sense of humour, easy going. We had a private room with our own bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The dinner the hosts made for us was outstanding, all cooked fresh, with several options. Joaquin brought out shots of a liquer after the meal, for all the guests. The breakfast was fantastic- so much available- bacon and eggs cooked to order, cereal, platters of fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, cake, orange juice, good coffee. Would recommend 100%. Lovely renovated space — the hosts are very friendly and make a delicious dinner and generous breakfast. The dorms were very clean and I appreciated the disinfectant provided to use to clean the shower after use. Small shop provides basic groceries. Would recommend this hostel — a lot of thought has gone into it.

The place is very unusual, but I didn't like that there were no electrical sockets (plug) near to bed. Price for a bed - 18 eur. Bank cards are accepted.
