Wonderful, restful place. Well run, neat, great people running it. Price a little high but well worth it for comfortable beds, beautiful room not too crowded and nice welcoming details. Delicious dinner and hearty breakfast.

Yes it’s expensive (35€ bed+dinner) - but it was worth every Cent! Gabriele made a wonderful vegetarian (nearly vegan) menu for us. She used vegetables from her garden - and even the bread and the cookies were homemade! I also got some delicious snacks for free when I arrived.
The place is beautiful and the house is nearly 500 years old.
Definitely one of my favourite places on the camino!

This year the albergue is organized by a young couple. I think they are not still get used to maintaining the place. Room, laundry, bathroom were not so clean and there are some strange bugs inside. Food was okay, but I don’t think this experience is worth paying 35€ (they only do bed dinner combination)

We enjoyed our stay here. Gabriel and Rui were wonderful hosts. They greeted us with a charcuterie board and bottled water. I sprained my ankle days prior and they gave me cold packs to ice my food throughout the evening. The communal dinner felt like a home cooked meal and all the pilgrims chatted afterwards. They have a lovely covered patio and corn hole.
I prefer being off stage from Sarria on because of the crowds. When we started in the morning, we were gifted with the sound of nature and not multiple conversations from groups of pilgrims. Highly recommend this place.

I loved this albergue. Run by a lovely couple who are delightful and fun to chat with. Rooms are good. Only one may shower but there's also an huge outdoor shower in the back. The family style dinner is really good. When you arrive you recieve a welcome dish of cheeses, cold cuts, fruits and crackers. And breakfast is great. Try Ray's home made NY style bagel. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic place to stay “off stage”. 2.5 km before Portomarin. Run my an American couple with outstanding hospitality.

Bed and Dinner is combined for 27€ and the 3 course family style dinner is amazing. Salad or soup, main course, and desert are delicious and homemade bread, water, and wine are all included.

They also offer an “American” breakfast of bacon and eggs with fruit and toast or a cold breakfast with hard boiled egg, yogurt, granola, fruit and toast. They even offer that cold breakfast to go for early departures.

It is a secret oasis and you feel like you are home.

What a lovely decision to stay here- the beds are great, the gated yard is inviting, the outdoor shower is such a luxury! Food served family style, so you get a chance to talk to the hosts and other guests. Highly recommend.
