The Road

The camino passes a convenient bakery on your left as it crosses through town. Pass the front of the chapel and keep to your left, passing another chapel and park not far after.

At this point you begin the steady uphill climb to Portela de Tamel, passing along the way intermittent strings of housing.

The convenient bakery (Cafe Arantes) conveniently maintains access to Casa de Sao Sebastiao: a beautifully, well maintained rural accommodation up the road.
The family are very nice and welcoming; and in doing so, extend accommodation options between Barcelos and Tamel (Sao Pedro Fins).

I tried contacting this accommodation according to the contact details on their website. Email produces and error message every time, phone rings out with a message in Spanish which I assume the phone number is disconnected, no response to text messages via mobile.
