Beg Bugs for sure
I was personally bitten about 40 times. Had to go to the doctor and have everything fumigated and cleaned by the time I reached a Leon. It was absolutely miserable.
Bed bugs- stay away!
Don’t stay here.
Owner invites pilgrims whilst knowingly does nothing about the bed bug infestation throughout the facility.
I’d guess that even months from now it will not be fixed, due to the significance of the bug infestation.
STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK
Bed bugs were found and owner was hesitant to refund, even after being shown massive bed bug. Owner said he could personally guarantee that there were no bed bugs in the private rooms, which in my opinion is delusional.
Bed Bugs in room 5
While my reservation at Casa Adobe wasn’t honored the women there sent me to Albergue Laguna . They gave me room 5 private room.
The place seemed run down but the host was really trying to help me as the entire town was booked . He was a nice man and so was his assistant.
They gave me the keys to room 5. It was later in the day and when I went in I saw a very tiny bug on the bedspread. .it didn’t look like much so I threw it out the window . I put the spread in the closet and didn’t take anything out of my pack. (Call it intuition )
I went to dinner and when I returned at about 9pm there was now a bug on the sheet. It was bigger I took a picture and googled bed bugs and it was 100 percent a bed bug .
I called every accommodation in El Burgo everywhere was completo. I was hoping for a no show .
I saw many more !!!! I think Leah’s a pilgrims nightmare.
I ended up taking all my things in the bathroom hanging them up and laid in the bathtub all night .
It was a very bad experience.

Fine
La Laguna is a basic Albergue but is clean and the toilets I used had full privacy. A reliable option for accommodation and close to the excellent el peregrino restaurant
No wifi Unfriendly welcome
Still has no WiFi. They know this and have done nothing about it. The place is basic but ok. On the edge of town. Not terrible but I’m sure you can find better places.
28th May
I was expecting a lot worse, but this was actually a good place to spend the night. There was a washing machine, always a blessing, and an extra little addition to the main dorm room that had single beds. It was clean, and although the host didn't speak English, we managed.
Very nice garden with lying
Very nice garden with lying chairs!! Nice kitchen. But the beds are horrible just falling apart. Bed doew is 12euro! And up 9 Euro!
Especially the garden! It has
Especially the garden! It has lyingchairs, which was wonderful! Supermarket close by, easy to make food. Singlerooms with bathroom and tub for 30 €. Nice! I recommend the place!
This is a great albergue. Had
This is a great albergue. Had 4 single beds in a room with friends. Kitchen had facilities to cook a decent meal. Garden is filled with fruit trees which the owner is happy to share. Showers have hot water and supermarket is in close proximity.
We enjoyed the delicious
We enjoyed the delicious apples and plums from the garden. Nice, spacious place. Unfortunately, we were eaten alive by bedbugs. It was horrible!!!
Not open yet - preparations
Not open yet - preparations in full swing for opening. Finding many Albergues closed and heard that the cold weather has put some off opening due to heating costs and the coronovirus.
Albergue dormitory remains
Albergue dormitory remains closed but individual, en-suite bedrooms available for 30€/night, with full use of the kitchen, laundry room and garden.
Supermarket & two restaurants also open in El Burgo now.
20 July 2020 it is open.

The garden is lovely! A single bed cost €15 which I felt was expensive for a place that feels a little bit like a trailer park. The single beds are connected to the main dorm area so the noise and heat goes through both rooms as there is no door!
On the plus side the kitchen here is still open and well equipped!
Stayed her last year and i
Stayed her last year and i would seriously recommend you avoid it like the plague. My friend was put in an old garage which she shared with 4 men and i was marginal better off in an old cow byre The showers were communal and attached to the toilets, my friend was in the shower while a man was sitting on the loo, having a poo while talking on his phone. The shower doors were not fixed properly and there was . No privacy, money grabbing no pilgrim friendly.
